Wir freuen uns, euch mitteilen zu können, dass wir seit kurzer Zeit mit den Jungs der schwedischen Kapelle FRANKY LEE zusammenarbeiten.

Ihr neues Album “There’s No Hell Like Other Peoples Happiness” wird Anfang November in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz erscheinen und ist der lang erwartete Nachfolger vom Erstlingsalbum “Cutting Edge” aus dem Jahr 2007.

Vor allem Frontmann von FRANKY LEE und Gitarrist bei Millencolin, Mathias Färm, ist vom Bandkonzept und der neuen Platte begeistert: “Ich liebe es. Wenn du eine Band startest, hast du erst einmal gar keine Erwartungen, weil dich noch nicht wirklich viele gehört haben. Natürlich, die Leute haben verschiedene Ideen, wie etwas klingen soll, aber es ist so cool, Songs so zu schreiben wie wir sie fühlen. Denn es gibt kein Limit.”

Julien-K reveil release date for the new album “WE’RE HERE WITH YOU”

It’s finally official: “WE’RE HERE WITH YOU” will be released January 23, 2012

“We want you guys to hear it first, we are happy to announce that our second album “We’re here with you” will be released on January the 23rd, 2012″.

We have been waiting to release this news to you until we were absolutely sure we will be able to make this date possible.

So today marks the start for all new PR activities for the new album. We will pass out a lot of information in the next days, weeks and month until the release – and further of course, and we sincerly hope for all your support, getting the news for a new Julien-K album out to the world. We will share some updates with you about the new artwork soon, hopefully be able to announce the first single, we are working on the final tracklist for the album and we cannot wait to have you guys hear the new music for the first time. And of course we are working on new live shows!!!

In the meantime, don’t forget to invite all your friends to our SYSTEM DE STREET page, upload your own photos, speak to streetteamers all over the world, get friends to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter…
This is just the beginning, we are also looking forward to see all you guys out on the road again – hopefully rather sooner than later.

JULIEN-K – UK-Shows müssen abgesagt werden!

Traurige Nachrichten für alle Fans – JULIEN-K müssen ihre letzten drei Shows ihrer aktullen Europa-Tour, die in Großbritannien angesetzt waren, leider absagen. Aber lest selbst:

Due to unforeseeable circumstances, that are out of the responsibility of the promoters and Julien-K, we are forced to reschedule i.e. cancel our final leg of our European tour in the United Kingdom.

We feel very sorry that we had to make this decision but we only heard about this on the weekend. We tried hard over the last two days to find a way to make this still possible, but we did not find a solution for the circumstances.

We sincerly believe that our fans will understand and we promise to make up for our UK fans as soon as possible.

We will be back – very soon.

The show for London will be rescheduled, with a new date to be announced. Tickets will stay valid for that new show, and we hope to give you more information soon.
The Infest festival promoter and Julien-K are looking into the possibility to get Julien-K onto the Infest bill for 2012.
The Glasgow concert will be cancelled without replacement at this point. Tickets can be returned to your local ticket shops.

noise mongers. We have been working hard at our second full length
album which is due to be recorded at the end of this year.
We decided that we wanted to share some of the new material
with you to shorten the wait for the full album! So we teamed up
with Mr James Dunkley at Murdermile Studios and recorded the
‘The Murder Mile’ 4 track EP for your listening pleasure!

Love for death

Also we have included a slow disturbing version of
Creedance Clearwater Revival’s classic Bad Moon Rising,
which is a favorite of ours that we have been playing live
during the last year.

JULIEN-K – neues Konzert in London

Julien-K haben am Wochenende eine zusätzliche Show in London, und zwar am 25. August im Monto Water Rats, bekannt gegeben. Die Band, die im September 2010 schon im ‘Water Rats’ gespielt hatte, kehrt nun für einen weiteren Abend voller Highlights vom Album “Death To Analog” sowie der neuen Platte “We’re here with you”, zurück.

Votet beim New Music Award für die 4BACKWOODS

Die 4BACKWOODS brauchen mal wieder kurz Eure Hilfe beim New Music Award Voting bei Einslive.

Am 7. September 2011 verleihen die jungen Radiosender der ARD zum wiederholten Male den New Music Award. Im Rahmen der Popkomm in Berlin suchen sie den Newcomer des Jahres. 16 viel versprechende Bands werden ins Rennen geschickt. Sie werden dann zur Eröffnung des Popkomm Festivals vor einem großen Publikum – darunter auch viele Fachleute aus der Medien- und Musikbranche – auftreten. Dabei entscheidet eine sich aus verschiedenen Branchenexperten und Vertretern der Sender zusammensetzende Jury darüber, wer den Award mit nach Hause nehmen darf. Die Siegerband erhält zudem ein Preisgeld von 10.000 €.

Julien-K Tour 2011 und Ticket Verlosung via K&M!

Schon Morgen ist es nun soweit und die JULIEN-K Tour 2011 startet in Prag, im Modra Vopice! In Kürze wird die Band also quer durch Europa Shows spielen und das kommende Album promoten.
